Yoga & Meditation Class
Experience a unique and spiritually enriching journey through yoga at Radha Raman Vedic Temple. Our temple offers yoga classes that seamlessly combine physical postures, deep breathing, and focused meditation, fostering a harmonious union of the body, mind, and spirit. These classes not only provide a connection to the rich heritage of India but also offer the convenience of integrating online and in-person sessions, allowing for a larger group and ensuring continuity. The yoga sessions are led by an experienced instructor who skillfully blends traditional yogic wisdom with Ayurveda techniques.
With over 25 years of experience in yoga, Surendra Mehta is a certified Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher ((E-RYT 200) in the USA and holds certifications from Patanjali Yogpeeth and Indian Yoga Institute in India. Along with that he is a retired Engineer and UCLA alumni residing in Diamond Bar, is a dedicated member and prominent volunteer at our temple. He has been practicing yoga for more than 25 years and teaching since 2001. He teaches Gentle Hatha Yoga, incorporating gentle physical movements, pranayama (breathing), relaxation, and meditation techniques with a preventive focus.
Class Information:
In-Person Classes:
- Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the temple, from 9:00-10:30 am.
Online Classes over Zoom:
- Every Monday from 8:15-9:00 pm.
- Wednesday from 6:45-8:00 pm.
