After relocating from NY to Orange County, Shiv Garg embraced the opportunity to contribute to the temple's expansion. he played a pivotal role in various projects, notably making a lasting impact on the construction that modernized the temple. His influence extended to establishing the temple's IT infrastructure, developing the website, managing social media, and implementing live streaming capabilities, effectively attracting new congregation members. Collaborating with the team for event coordination and festival organization elevated the temple's celebrations. Additionally, he led the Green Initiative, focusing on solar energy and reducing disposable waste. In his capacity as Secretary, Shiv prioritized transparency, financial matters, and compliance, aiming to enhance these crucial areas. As a young entrepreneur with substantial experience managing large IT projects, Shiv brought valuable expertise to his undertakings.

 

Vasant Rathi

 

 

Vasant Rathi - Vice Chairman

Vasant Rathi, the Founder and CEO of a global nutraceutical company, has been actively involved with the Radha Raman Temple for more than 20 years. His numerous contributions to the temple include serving as a board member, key fundraiser, and champion of the new mandir project. Mr. Rathi has an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep interest in health, meditation, enzymes and probiotics, and Vedanta. A dedicated philanthropist, he is committed to supporting education, spiritual and health initiatives. His devotion to charitable work has inspired many generations of leaders.

Ketan Reshamwala - Secretary

Ketan has been an esteemed congregation member since 1985, dedicating himself to the temple's growth and development. He is committed and he has served as a Board member and Secretary in the past. During these roles, Ketan made substantial contributions to various projects, particularly those related to the expansion of the temple. He played a crucial part in revising bylaws and ensuring compliance with local laws, demonstrating his commitment to the legal and administrative aspects of the temple's functioning.

Beyond his involvement in the temple, Ketan boasts a career spanning more than 25 years, marked by expertise in global sourcing, supply chain management, and research and development fields. His professional journey has seen him hold the distinguished Senior positions in larger corporations.

 
 

 

Raj Shah - Member

Raj Shah, a devoted member of the Temple for over 30 years, has been an integral part of its journey. Previously serving as Chairman of the Board, he spearheaded essential initiatives such as project management and permitting for the Temple's new facilities, including the service building. Along with his background in Project Management and Business Development within the energy sector, he has mentored graduate students from Cal State Fullerton's Entrepreneurship Program. Shah strongly advocates for the involvement of young individuals in volunteering and assuming management responsibilities within our Temple.

 


Manohar Shroff - Member

Manohar Shroff has been an active participant in the Radha Raman Temple since the mid-1990s. With a construction industry background spanning over 50 years, he has played a significant role in the temple's construction and maintenance endeavors. He remains enthusiastic and eager to contribute to the temple's ongoing work. Shroff has previously served on the temple board, holding positions such as secretary and president.

Bharat Bhagat - President

Bharat Bhagat has been volunteering at the temple for over 20 years. He is always eager to offer his services as a volunteer, donor and supporter. With deep devotion, he actively participates in various tasks at the temple, showing enthusiasm to help wherever he's needed. Bharat takes part in all operational initiatives, stays informed about ongoing activities, and also help in managing the temple's finances. Bharat is an entrepreneur who successfully runs a family business. Bharat's dedication extends beyond his family to his community, striking a harmonious balance between his spiritual and professional pursuits.

Ashok Jena - Vice President

Ashok Jena, a devoted Jagannath devotee, has been serving the Radha Raman Vedic Temple for the past two years. Prior to joining Radha Raman Temple, he held the position of President at the Jagannath Society of California (JSC). Demonstrating his commitment to spiritual and social causes, Ashok has actively engaged in multiple fundraising activities both in the US and India. He expresses deep gratitude to the spiritual organizations for providing him with opportunities to serve the divine. Professionally, Ashok specializes in developing and managing software products for online collaboration and communication.

 

 

Gopal Agarwal - Secretary

Gopal, a committed explorer of self and spiritual mysteries, has undertaken various social roles, including serving as a physician in India and a special education teacher in the US. Over the span of more than a decade, Gopal has devoted himself to the service of the temple and its congregation. His involvement goes beyond mere attendance, as he actively engages and willingly shoulders responsibilities assigned to him. This collaborative effort extends to his family, who also contributed to some of the temple's initiatives.

 

 

 

Rajay Patel - Treasurer 

Rajay Patel, with over three decades of unwavering devotion, has been an integral part of our temple's community. His commitment shines through in his active role in serving "prasad" in the temple kitchen. Rajay's professional journey is marked by a successful career as an entrepreneur, where he amassed more than 30 years of expertise in retail management and operations. Beyond his invaluable contributions to our temple, Rajay has also played a pivotal role in the broader community. He has served as the President of the Southern California Gujarati Cultural Society and continues to make a difference as a trustee of the same organization. Rajay's dedication to serving the temple community remains as strong as ever, and he eagerly anticipates continuing this fulfilling journey.

 

 

Sonal Shah - Member

Sonal Shah has displayed unwavering devotion to the Radha Raman temple for over 25 years. She actively engages in organizing events; taking on the responsibility  for Temple Kitchen, Sunday Bhog Seva, and maintenance of the temple's facility. Sonal considers herself truly blessed to have the opportunity to contribute her hospitality and services to the temple, enriching the community's experience. Professionally, she oversees billing and insurance processing at a dental office.
