An Evening with Radha Ramanji
The Sunday program is the heart of our temple. Every Sunday evening, devotees gather before Shri Radha Ramanji and Shri Radha Rani to hear about the Lord, sing His holy names and take His darshan together.
It is our largest gathering of the week. Families, friends and children of every age come together, and the hall fills with devotion.
Pravachan & Bhajans
On some Sundays, learned speakers share a Pravachan: a talk on the pastimes and teachings of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani, and how to bring them into our daily lives.
On other Sundays, the evening is filled with Bhajans in praise of Radha Krishna, led by our dedicated singers who serve the temple week after week. Everyone is welcome to sing along.
In a typical month, there are two Sundays of Pravachan and two Sundays of Bhajans.
Blessings & Prayers
Sunday is a time for the temple family to come together. Each week we welcome devotees joining us for the first time, and thank the host family and the Flower Seva hosts for their service.
We also remember members of our congregation who are celebrating a special occasion, such as a birthday or an anniversary, and seek the blessings of Radha Ramanji for them.
Together, we pray for the good health and recovery of loved ones who are unwell.
Aarti & Mahaprasad
Before the Aarti, the whole congregation chants the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra together. At 7:00 PM, the evening Aarti is offered to Shri Radha Ramanji and Shri Radha Rani, and everyone is then invited to share Mahaprasad.
Each Sunday, a host family lovingly prepares the Mahaprasad in the temple kitchen and offers it to the Lord as Bhog before it is served.
Would your family like to host a Sunday?
Hosting is a beautiful way to serve the Lord and the whole congregation, and to mark a birthday, an anniversary or any special day. Sundays are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Special Sundays
When a special day falls close to a Sunday, such as Mother's Day or Father's Day, we celebrate it together as part of the Sunday program, so the whole temple family can take part.
